With the fire horse arriving in a few days, hope everyone has a happy lunar new year! A shorter update for this month since I've been a little too busy to create newer stuff, but here's an update nonetheless!

[🍒] To be honest I wasn't sure what to expect, but thank you for all the positive reception for the first month of sticker club! It's been pretty frozen over here in New York which I imagine is jamming up the post, so I hope all the envelopes have arrived safely.
Still unsure which backing color I want to go with yet, but a quick preview for February's sticker! This year's zodiac animal is captured in fiery motion - pace yourself carefully, and may your luck burn bright and move your life forward.
Another set of stickers that I will hopefully add soon to the shop... a bit too late for Valentine's day, but wanted to create a pair of stickers that you could share with a loved one. Was prototyping this with a shattered vinyl effect, but now I'm wondering if I want to make this a sticker sheet instead. I'll hopefully have these up soon when they're ready!

Something else to look out for: I recently finished a mini-sketchbook for the local art shop focusing on abstract organic forms, aka visualizing how I was feeling/what I was observing as a form of texture.
I got some quick scans of the pages before I turned the booklet in back to the shop, so hopefully I'll get a PDF up soon, but if you happen to be in Sunnyside, NY I highly recommend going to check it (and other sketchbooks in the project!) out in person at Sunnyside Arts.
Related to the local art shop, thank you for everyone who braved the cold and checked out the Valentine's popup last week!
My next show should be MoCCA Fest at the end of March. Hopefully I'll have table details by the time I make next month's newsletter - hope to see folks there!

As for personal updates... my partner and I are still going through green card process stuff for the rest of this month, so fingers crossed the last leg of this goes smoothly. Learning a lot about what counts as a proof of address at the bank when your partner doesn't have a SSN yet and can't easily secure an alternative while we live at a co-op and have a unique family situation lol.
My time with Supergiant/Hades II has also come to an official close with my contract ending today, so I want to thank the team for taking care of me for the past few years and the extraordinary opportunity to work on a project as creatively robust like this. I hope everyone who's tried the game is having a wonderful time with it - it's come a long way since I first test-played it when I was first brought on.
I also got my first tattoo with Duri4n in Brooklyn! A rib piece - the pain was one thing, but I severely underestimated how much the healing process itched lol. A huge thanks to the artist for being patient with me, was extraordinarily nervous going in but ultimately a cathartic process. A little shy sharing photos with the placement, but here it is anyway since I'm very happy with how it looks:
I totally understand now why one tattoo doesn't feel like enough lol.
Anyway hope everyone is doing well. Stay safe, take care of yourself and your neighbors, have a nice meal on the 17th. See y'all in March 🔥
