JANUARY 2026

Hello everyone, happy new year! It's been awhile since my last proper email, hope this doesn't come as a huge shock in your inbox. (TL;DR, I have a lot of new stickers.)

---

[🍒] Been mentioning this on some socials, but wanted to properly announce that I have a sticker club now!

I invested in a Portrait 4 at the end of last year, and despite the learning curve on the device, it's been fun prototyping stickers at home. Want to make this as a casual and inexpensive way to share some personal work with folks who are interested, so hopefully I can keep this up through the year.

January's sticker is meant to be a good luck charm for the new year, a wish for bad omens to not be. Will be tweaking this design through the month (think I will go with the black glossy), but I think I'm happy with this bleeding heart dove opening up the club. I have a dedicated feed to track future updates on Bluesky!

In other (sticker) news, I've been wanting to get back to doing mutual aid/charity work. My schedule and mental health limited my bandwidth quite significantly unfortunately these past few years for this kind of thing, but it's something that I still want to do. It's not a lot, but with the help of a home cutter I figured a collection of small-batch stickers dedicated to mutual aid funding would be a good way to get collective support.

The first of these is a sticker based on the C. Mossiae, the national flower of Venezuela, with funds going towards civilian calls to action to help pay for things like grocery bills and moving costs. Stickers can only do so much, but I hope this money helps ease some of the uncertainty inflamed by recent events.

Hopefully I can make more stickers for more causes as my ability to draw will allow. For transparency, I will be tracking where sticker money goes on this Google Sheet.

Thank you beforehand for the support.

In an effort to put out more digital goods to keep my art accessible internationally (thanks tariffs), I've put out a cheap universal icon pack salvaged from a now-defunct internal kit I made for a past job.

I'm also attempting to scan in some sketchbooks I've neglected to share in full. Most recent one can be found here.

Lastly, I've been trying to do more in-person stuff! If you're able to make it out to Sunnyside, Queens in NYC, definitely drop by Sunnyside Arts if you can. I currently have a piece up inspired by Theseus's ship, prompted by the theme "Doppleganger".

I am also currently working on a sketchbook project with the owner of the shop - I'm aiming to finish and share it next month. Super cool space with a ton of events, run by a super cool guy. Hope to do more with the space!

And a more personal update... 2025 was an incredibly turbulent year for myself. Was tested emotionally and physically several times - I had some of my happiest days in 2025, and some of my roughest. I can only pray it was worth it and that I've grown from the experiences, both positive and negative.

Most notably, I finally got married to my loving partner, closing the gap on a transatlantic long-distance relationship that we maintained for over eight years. This immense hurdle we crossed still has a lot of follow-up as we learn to navigate the American bureaucratic system while being queer, but I'm excited to weather the storm with her now that we're finally together in-person. To everyone who supported us through this through the good and the bad, thank you so much, it means the world. Wish us luck, haha.

2026 has kicked off strongly and I hope to keep it up. As always, your support is deeply appreciated and keeps me going. May the new year be kind and fruitful to you too.
